The Makers of the Dead Travel Fast and A Slow Rip

With DJs Anna Johns (The Modern Dance, 2SER), Stu Buchanan and Danny Jumpertz (New Weird Australia, FBI) and Corporal Leper (Brooke Olsen SNATM, FBI).

SATURDAY 28th NOVEMBER 2009 8 pm
Abercrombie Hotel, Sydney
$12 at the door

While patiently waiting for the right conditions to make their break for the summit Scattered Order Mk 1 uses the time to bring their noise / loop monster back to the garage for more tinkering. Using the adage "You can never have too much power" they cram more cubic inches under the bonnet.

Klanggalerie adds the "Plus" to "Prat Culture" by releasing it for the first time on CD. So to shamelessly promote this European release Scattered Order Mk 1 decide to play in Sydney. Be there to witness this full throttle attempt!

Shane Fahey, Peter Richardson, Steve Couri and Cat Coleman re-invent velocity as The Makers of the Dead Travel Fast for this rare performance. Hear a bunch of new tunes unfurl with old craft synth delving, devious guitar twitches and pre clock rhythms.

While the improvisational trio A Slow Rip (Rob Laurie, Ian Miles and Phil Turnbull) lay fresh tarmac for a road trip of your dreams.
